One weekend, my family, a few friends, and I drove to Hampi for a photography trip. Early the next morning, around 5:30 am, we made our way up Matanga Hill to watch the sunrise. As the first light spread across the ancient landscape, an unexpected scene unfolded. A young monkey had managed to snatch a water bottle from a tourist. It tried to pierce the bottle to drink from it but struggled to get any water out. Observing this, our guide picked up the bottle and tilted it like a tap. The monkey eagerly drank, delighted by the sudden stroke of luck.
