Aaarrhhh!! It’s a scary Orangutan! Psst. It’s not a real orangutan! 🙂
We went for an excursion in a park last Friday (Of course with our cameras), and, I spotted this! This was part of a tree that was uprooted because of heavy rains and winds (Yes, the same tree where I captured Cub Face!). This orangutan was at a perfect angle for me to capture it. All the holes in the face were made by some wood-eating insect.
The name orangutan means “Person of the Forest” in the Malay language.
