This is a collection of a few images I captured in London, UK.
Bustling
When visiting the famous St. Paul’s Cathedral, I spotted a really good opportunity for a long-exposure image. I set up my tripod in a street leading up to the cathedral, with the road included in the frame. I tried to get many light trails in the foreground, which the cars created. It took me many attempts to nail this shot. I took this image during the sunset, so I got the golden light on the cathedral.

Peace
After getting off a tube in the Mansion House station, we spotted this lonely man wearing headphones on a bench. I tried to take a long exposure image when people were getting off a tube. The image turned out well with a moving train in the background.

Patterns in the city
When walking around London city, I spotted many buildings with artistic patterns on them. While taking an image of one of these buildings, I realized that I could include the famous “Shard” (a sky-scaper) in the frame. I took this image trying to include the designs on the building and the Shard. The clouds also added to the image, forming a gradient behind the Shard.

Speed
While walking on the iconic London Bridge, I spotted this man wearing dark clothes and riding an e-scooter. Since I had my ND filter on, I tried getting a panning shot of him. After many attempts, I got this shot with many interesting buildings in the background. I like how his clothes contrast the background.

THE UNderground
When walking in a very busy street, I spotted this “Underground” sign that was in a rather interesting place. I wanted to try to take a long-exposure image including the iconic sign. I tried to include the light trails of moving vehicles in the foreground to give it a unique effect.

Patterns in the city
When walking in a crowded street, I spotted these interesting designs on the side of a building. I thought that they would look interesting In a photo. I took the image while including only the designs. I later converted it to black & white to give it a more dramatic effect.

Motion
In a busy street, I was experimenting with different types of panning shots. I chose this part of the street because of the vibrant lights in the background. This cyclist came at the perfect speed for me to get a lot of motion blur in the background.

Bustling borough market
When visiting the busy Borough Market, I got the idea of taking a long exposure shot with moving people in the foreground and a sign of the market in the background. I really like how the image turned out with many warm tones.
